Investor inquiries come through various channels including emails, phone calls, letters, and in-person visits at the Head Office. Additionally, the company handles a significant volume of claims directed to the Investor Education Protection Fund and has around 100,000 shareholders with shares in physical form presenting legacy issues. Addressing these needs demands a dedicated team proficient in investor relations.
Position Overview:
To support the Company Secretary and Chief Legal Officer (Corporate & Compliance) as well as the Head of the department in managing routine investor relations at the Head Office, Tata Steel proposes the position of Assistant Manager – Investor Services at the IL6 level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve investor queries received by the company.
- Assist in managing claims under the Investor Education & Protection Fund and the Suspense Escrow Demat Account.
- Aid in organizing the Annual General Meeting and other shareholder meetings.
- Contribute to the development of systems and processes to improve investor services.
- Liaise with the Registrar & Transfer Agent, Banks, Depositories, IEPF Authority, and Stock Exchanges on investor matters.
- Support the Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer (Corporate & Compliance) and the Head in investor-related tasks.
