Job Title: Guest Room Maintenance Engineer

Hotel Overview:

JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai, a 5-star hotel located in the heart of downtown Dubai, is seeking a skilled and experienced Guest Room Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to perform preventive maintenance tasks, respond to guest room requests, and ensure efficient and effective maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preventive Maintenance:
   - Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist
   - Complete room's preventative maintenance process in an efficient and effective manner
- Guest Room Requests:
   - Respond to engineering-related guest room requests in a timely manner
- Maintenance Tasks:
   - Execute Work Order, PPM, and General Maintenance works as directed by the supervisor
   - Keep Housekeeping and Front Office informed of issues preventing room sales
- Communication and Teamwork:
   - Familiarize with Guestware enterprise system and check the system daily
   - Retain daily logs for all work carried out and spares requested/ordered
   - Maintain close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation
- Safety and Quality:
   - Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately
   - Participate in departmental meetings and training
   - Assist in energy conservation program and TQM process

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of experience in maintenance engineering
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and quality control skills
- Familiarity with Guestware enterprise system
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds
