Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer - Frame and Fabrication (F&F) to join our New Product Development (NPD) team at the Hosur Plant. This role will contribute to the development and enhancement of innovative products under the TVS Norton brand, focusing on designing, optimizing, and validating frame and fabrication components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design F&F components for new product development.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, 3D modeling, and simulations to ensure designs meet technical specifications and quality standards.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize production processes.
• Conduct prototype testing and implement improvements based on test results.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and best practices to drive innovation in F&F designs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–10 years of relevant experience in F&F design, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in design tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of material properties, welding, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with simulation tools for stress analysis and validation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
