Ruby on Rails Developer

Position: Ruby on Rails Developer (Experience: 4-6 Years)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.
• Integrate data storage solutions, including MySQL and other relational databases.
• Work with Ruby ORM frameworks such as ActiveRecord or Sequel for seamless database interactions.
• Utilize Jinja2 templating for dynamic content rendering and ensure smooth integration with the application stack.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective solutions.
• Implement scalable architectures while following best practices for code quality, organization, and testing.
• Create and maintain database schemas that align with business processes.
• Build and maintain automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure application reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Core Skills:
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and commonly used libraries like RSpec and Resque.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, with experience in database design and optimization.
  • Expertise with Ruby ORM frameworks, including ActiveRecord or Sequel.
  • Familiarity with Jinja2 templating for dynamic content generation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
