Position: Junior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) - SAP Munich

 Role Overview

- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to maintain highly reliable and scalable production systems.
- Develop and oversee robust production environments, managing frequent updates and changes.
- Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including providing support during off-hours as needed.
- Ensure production systems are continuously available and scalable.

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong experience with configuring cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Expertise in Kubernetes for resource management, deployment, and scaling of containerized applications.
- Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Knowledge of Kustomize or Helm for Kubernetes application deployment and management.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, as well as metrics collection.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD.
- Programming abilities in Python and Bash.

 Experience

Candidates should have some initial experience working in a SaaS production environment.

 Desirable Skills

- Experience with managing and configuring MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Databricks for cluster setup, job configuration, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP services like SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Data Lake, and Cloud Logging.
- Understanding of Istio service mesh and Kyverno.
