What You'll Do:
- Coordinate with other departments using telecommunications devices to respond to requests and resolve maintenance issues. This includes putting rooms needing maintenance out of order.
- Schedule and coordinate with other departments during major system shutdowns, repairs, or improvements.
- Maintain a purchase orders log and file purchase orders upon payment, ensuring accuracy between orders and packing slips.
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures. Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete required safety training and certifications. Properly store flammable materials.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines as necessary.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Any Postgraduate
