ENGINEER NEW TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Job Purpose:

- Ensure delivery of COC's projects in accordance with TCDS process
- Manage ongoing technology projects and identify new project opportunities
- Focus on ideation, brainstorming, and patent generation
- Provide CAD support and facilitate vehicle-level integration and DMU evaluation
- Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure timely project delivery

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage TCDS projects from concept to delivery
- Identify and initiate new projects under TCDS process
- Conduct ideation and brainstorming sessions
- Generate patents and design components
- Provide CAD support and resolve queries
- Facilitate vehicle-level integration and DMU evaluation
- Collaborate with planning, prototype, and vendor partners
- Track project development and ensure timely delivery

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: ME, M-Tech (Mechanical/Automobile) preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years in vehicle integration, design, and development
- Exposure to Six Sigma, ISO TS, and WCQ preferred
- Project Management (Foundation) certification preferred
- Domain knowledge: commercial vehicle integration, design, and latest technologies
- Skills:
   - Quick learning with strong interpersonal and communication skills
   - Proficient in Pro-E, CATIA, Assembly, Detailing, and drafting
   - Knowledge of PLM system and release process
   - Awareness of electrical, electronic, and mechanical component integration
   - Secondary skills: safety and ADAS technologies, FE, light weighting technologies, and vehicle dynamics.
