Ensure all maintenance (planned/unplanned) adheres to Air Products' safety procedures and meets/exceeds KPIs.
Comply with Air Products and local safety, health, and environmental standards, including mandatory safety training and activities.
Troubleshoot and rectify equipment issues efficiently, ensuring plant equipment meets safety and environmental requirements.
Provide technical support for breakdowns, commissioning, maintenance, and installations, guiding electrical technicians and contractors.
Perform HV, MV, and LV switching activities as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requirements, including emergency jobs, on a 24/7 basis to meet customer expectations.
Maintain accurate equipment documents, integrity, and history databases.
Ensure spares availability through SAP, identifying key spare parts and stock levels.
Plan and schedule electrical shutdowns and turnaround activities.
Supervise contractors to ensure safety, quality, and reliability.
Provide technical reports using specified datasheets or checklists.
Position Requirements
Education: B.Tech/BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 8-10 years of maintenance experience in industries like refinery, chemical process, power generation, etc.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in electrical systems, including GIS/VCBs, motors, transformers, UPS, VFDs, HVAC, and heat tracing systems.
Proficiency in electrical testing (cables, CTs/PTs, protection relays, earthing systems).
Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and GA drawings.
Experience in hazardous area equipment selection and application.
Knowledge of SAP and vendor contracts is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
Strong communication and coordination skills, fluent in English; knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi is a plus.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Experience in complex electrical systems in industries like oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation.
