Role Description
As a Microsoft Copilot Technology Specialist (Copilot TS), your primary objective is to secure the technical buy-in from customers for our technologies. Working collaboratively in a team, you will facilitate customers' digital transformation by leveraging Microsoft 365 and Surface within the Modern Workplace framework. Copilot TSs are responsible for guiding customers through technical decisions, identifying new opportunities for sales teams to pursue, and ensuring the successful adoption of our solutions. You will work with a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to educate customers at a technical level, demonstrate our solutions, and secure technical commitments. This role will allow you to maintain and enhance your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based technologies.

Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
- OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience
- OR a Master’s Degree in a related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience
- OR equivalent experience
Preferred:
- Experience in solution design, strategic planning, and scaling AI products
Responsibilities
Expand Copilot and Teams Customer Engagements:
- Proactively engage with customers using knowledge of their context and expertise in Copilot for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, Teams Premium, and devices.
- Lead technical discussions, establish engagement rules for extended teams, and leverage knowledge of processes, tools, and programs.
Build Strategy for Copilot and Teams:
- Provide strategic, technical, and partner insights at the account level.
- Utilize customer feedback and competitive knowledge to enhance Microsoft Teams and Copilot capabilities.
Design and Prove Solutions for Copilot and Teams:
- Conduct demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions.
- Apply architectural patterns for design, development, configuration, and deployment/adoption/governance planning.
Education and Continuous Learning:
- Identify learning gaps and respond to internal tech community posts.
- Participate in community calls, sessions, and hackathons to expand knowledge and demonstrate new Copilot for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams products and services.
Leverage Partner Ecosystem:
- Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams.
- Identify skill and resource gaps and provide feedback to improve Copilot for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings, Teams Premium, devices, Frontline Worker, and Viva solutions.
