Are you an experienced professional seeking to tackle Azure’s most significant challenges? Join our team as a Technical Program Manager within the Azure Core team. We are integral to Azure’s engineering organization, emphasizing exceptional customer experiences as key to Azure’s success. Our focus includes building the Azure Compute Platform, Azure Control Plane, Azure Node services, Azure VMs, and other compute and security services. Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, data analysis, or product development, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 4+ years of program management experience, totaling 8+ years with a focus on enterprise platform products, cloud platform design, services, or products.
- Hands-on experience in software platform design, architecture, virtual machines, control plane software, SAAS product design, and managing cross-functional, cross-geographical team projects.

Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including specialized security screenings.

Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in engineering, technical program management, data analysis, product development, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 1+ years of experience in reading and/or writing code.
- Ability to frame problems concisely, conceptualize solutions, and make data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to articulate business problems and technical issues to diverse audiences.
- Experience driving change across diverse teams and handling regulatory/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Software and Hardware Engineering to design technical solutions across feature areas.
- Identify risks and propose data-driven mitigations.
- Define success criteria and establish relationships to implement features for complex projects, ensuring alignment across organizations.
- Drive roadmap delivery for multiple feature groups, managing project schedules and governance programs.
- Lead continuous improvements by validating use cases, writing test cases, collecting performance metrics, supporting customer engagement, and driving customer support initiatives.
