 Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled as an MBO ICT student at level 3 or 4 in the Dutch education system.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with operating systems and networking protocols.
- Hardware Expertise: Knowledge of computer hardware, server components, and diagnosing hardware issues.
- Communication: Proficient in spoken and written English to effectively support and collaborate with English-speaking colleagues.

 Preferred Qualifications:
- Operating Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- System Monitoring: Experience in maintaining and monitoring server systems.
- Data Center Experience: Acquainted with data center or network operation center environments.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with teams to tackle and resolve challenges.

 Job Overview:
Join Google’s Hardware Operations team, where you will be integral in monitoring, maintaining, and deploying the physical infrastructure that powers Google’s Search technology. As a Data Center Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Google's advanced data center servers and network infrastructure. This role entails working with various stakeholders on the physical deployment of data center technology.

During this apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to the broader engineering environment at Google, with opportunities to develop within Hardware Operations or explore areas such as software development, networking operations, or project management.

- Install and set up servers, switches, routers, and other networking hardware.
- Assist in testing and diagnosing server and network hardware components.
- Configure and troubleshoot issues related to Linux OS boot processes.
- Independently resolve hardware issues with minimal need for escalation.
- Manage and resolve issues through ticketing systems.
