Qualifications:

- B Com, M Com, BBA with ACCA only, MBA-Finance with BCom as an undergraduate degree

Skills:

We seek individuals with basic knowledge of accounting and auditing, strong communication abilities, and excellent analytical skills with a critical thinking mindset. Attention to detail and thoroughness are essential, as are professionalism and self-assurance. You should be able to handle multiple projects and assignments, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines. Effective communication at various organizational levels, forward planning, and the ability to anticipate potential issues are crucial. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to learn new software tools are required. Knowledge of foreign languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Dutch is advantageous, and ACCA or CPA candidates will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include understanding the client’s background, industry, and regulatory environment to support relevant assurance procedures. You will need to comprehend country-specific and international accounting principles and auditing standards, including reporting requirements. You will assist in executing assurance procedures under the guidance of a senior team member, and you must clearly and accurately document the execution of these procedures as defined by engagement objectives and the planned assurance approach per EY methodology. Collaboration with diverse engagement teams across sectors and regions is essential. Proactively seeking feedback for work performed and taking appropriate actions is important, as is accurately identifying issues and exceptions and ensuring timely communication to the local engagement team.
