Role / Job Title: Associate Debt Manager - Flows - Call Centre

Function / Department: Debt Management - Flows - Call Centre

Job Purpose: The Associate Debt Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the activities of the debt management department. This role includes managing the agencies associated with the company within their assigned territory. The primary objective is to ensure efficient and optimized retrieval of EMI (Equated Monthly Instalment) payments from customers while adhering to all bank guidelines, thereby contributing to the larger organizational goals of the bank.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and undertake the collections process for assigned debts.
  • Regularly track the portfolio for specific buckets in the assigned area.
  • Control and track delinquency of the area, both bucket-wise and DPD (Days Past Due) wise, with a focus on non-starters.
  • Allocate and achieve targets with agencies and the in-house team.
  • Regularly follow up with defaulting customers.
  • Ensure adherence to the collection process and legal guidelines.
  • Trace absconded default customers and initiate the recovery process.
  • Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and follow up with the legal team for case closures.
  • Maintain administrative work related to collections, such as updating delinquent account history, providing and maintaining MIS reports (Management Information System), and reviewing collection feedback on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Education Qualification:

  • Graduation: Any Graduation

Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Flows - Call Centre
