Key Responsibilities
Spa Operations
- Assist the Spa Director in their absence, providing leadership and guidance to spa staff
- Manage supplies, equipment, and uniforms, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste
- Understand and manage budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of spa areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests
Customer Service
- Set a positive example for guest relations, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback, responding promptly to concerns and resolving issues efficiently
- Handle guest problems and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service, providing guidance and support as needed
Human Resources
- Solicit employee feedback and address concerns, maintaining an open-door policy and ensuring employee satisfaction
- Ensure employees understand expectations and parameters, providing clear guidance and support
- Participate in employee progressive discipline procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
- Supervise on-going training initiatives, ensuring employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with employees, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience in spa, guest services, or related professional area required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
