Responsibilities:
- Patient Examination and Diagnosis:
- Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose medical conditions.
- Provide accurate and timely consultations to patients.
- Patient Management:
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Routine Procedures:
- Perform routine emergency medicine outpatient procedures such as:
- Excision of cysts or other dermal masses
- Regional blocks of peripheral nerves
- Removal of foreign bodies
- Emergency Procedures:
- Conduct emergency thoracotomy and open cardiac massage.
- Manage standard life support procedures.
- Administer moderate sedation.
- Diagnostic Skills:
- Utilize ultrasound technology effectively in diagnostics.
- Resuscitation and Critical Care:
- Perform resuscitation procedures in acutely ill patients prior to admission.
- Handle critical patients, including those requiring ventilation support.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical Skills:
- Proficiency in performing emergency medicine outpatient procedures.
- Ability to manage life support and resuscitation procedures.
- Skilled in using ultrasound for diagnostic purposes.
- Capability to handle and manage critically ill patients, including ventilation.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Must have a qualified MBBS degree from a recognized institute.
- The institute must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
