Postdoctoral Scholar Position in Biostatistics
The Division of Biostatistics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, is seeking a postdoctoral scholar with a strong background in computational and statistical methods for high-dimensional data, particularly in genetics and genomics.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, applied mathematics, bioinformatics, computer science, or related fields
- Strong statistical intuition and excellent programming and data analysis skills
- Experience with optimization techniques, Bayesian computation, statistical genetics, and Julia programming (welcome but not required)
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with researchers from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:
