Job Role: As the Business Development Manager, you'll be pivotal in identifying, nurturing, and steering business opportunities to propel revenue and expansion for the company. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and leadership teams, you'll craft and execute strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint potential clients, industries, and market trends, while staying abreast of competitor activities.
- Lead Generation: Employ diverse channels like cold calling, networking, email marketing, and referrals to generate leads.
- Relationship Cultivation: Forge and sustain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Target Attainment: Consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring sound business practices regarding payment collection, secondary liquidation, and organizational profitability.
- Proposal Crafting and Presentation: Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches, effectively addressing client needs and pain points.
- Negotiation and Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure successful deals.
- Client Retention: Nurture existing client relationships to maximize long-term business opportunities and foster repeat business.
- Collaboration: Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to business development.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new markets and growth opportunities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly monitor and report on business development activities, performance, and outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights.
Candidate Profile:
- 1-4 years of sales experience in Pharma/Medical/Healthcare sectors, particularly in consumables.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in business development, sales, or related domains.
- Deep understanding of the company's industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on surpassing sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
