Jira & Agile Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Jira & Agile Transformation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption of Agile methodologies across our development teams. You will also focus on implementing and administering Jira to streamline project management processes and foster effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of Jira, tailoring it to the specific needs of development teams.
• Act as the primary Jira administrator, managing user accounts, permissions, workflows, and customizations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Jira documentation, including user guides, training materials, and best practices.
• Coach teams on Agile principles, methodologies (e.g., Scrum), and best practices.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide teams in adopting Agile values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, design) for seamless project execution.
• Identify areas for optimization and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
• Generate reports and dashboards from Jira to track progress, analyze metrics, and provide insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in implementing and administering Jira, including customization, workflow design, and reporting.
• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
• Extensive experience with Jira, including advanced reporting and workflow design.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in the travel software industry is a plus.
• Jira certifications and Scrum Master Certification are preferred.
