GCR UK – Tax Analyst

As a Tax Analyst at GCR UK, you will be responsible for reviewing client-provided information and preparing tax computations, tax returns, and supporting documentation. You will manage your tasks to ensure client commitments are met with high standards and comply with all required technical quality and utilization requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with your team to analyze data for various corporate tax calculations, returns, and reports to meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Your tasks will include researching complex tax legislation and positions and applying them to specific client needs. You will gather necessary information to ensure accurate tax compliance products within budget, formulate plans to communicate information, and deliver end products. Identifying areas of exposure and adapting to challenges in the compliance process is crucial. Additionally, you will provide timely and high-quality services that exceed client expectations, maintain continuous interaction with reviewers and onshore counterparts, manage expectations, and ensure exceptional client service. Adherence to the Service Charter/SLAs and self-review of assigned work are also key responsibilities.

Skills and Attributes for Success

- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills
- A confident and self-motivating attitude
- Good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm

  You Must Have

- 0 to 1 year of total work experience
- ACCA affiliate status along with a bachelor's or master's degree in commerce
- Desirable experience in audit, tax, or finance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
